If you’re a Potterhead, you’ve definitely heard about Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans. They’re a popular type of candy in the wizarding world and come with the mysterious (and somewhat ominous) tagline, A Risk With Every Mouthful. No one, not even Dumbledore, knows which flavour the bean will be without tasting it.
Unfortunately, us muggles don’t have it in our world but when we book an Uber, we face the same kind of risk. We have no clue how the driver will turn out – sweet, silent, sleepy or even shady.
Twitter user @LuisLovesGoats though, found the best kind there is. His driver was George Ure, a 38-year-old Seattle resident. George offered him a ‘menu’ from which he could select the type of ride experience he wanted to have.
last night my uber gave me a menu on what kind of ride i wanted , pic.twitter.com/SMBBV4kVpu

The options were The Stand-Up, The Silent Ride, The Therapy Ride, The Creepy Ride or The Rude Ride. And the explanations of each are so on point.
George is a part-time emergency medical technician and part-time for Uber driver. In an interview with Forbes, he talked about the inspiration behind his ‘ride type menu’ saying,
“I want to give good service and if someone’s not up for talking, I just want to give them the option.”
His creative idea has been winning hearts online ever since it was shared. The original tweet has over 100,000 retweets. Initially, George was not on Twitter, but when his menu went viral, he decided to create a handle.

Netizens think his ice-breaker deserves a 5-star rating or even more if the app allows it.
I’m actually torn between the therapy ride and the creepy ride

Can I mix it up?
Start silent
Then to creepy
Break The ice with a few prison stories
A light therapy session right before I get out and give him/her 5 stars and a tip.— aHappyBlakDude (@aHappyBlakDude) February 26, 2019

other uber drivers need to step up their game

What a great way to make passengers smile, improve their commute experience and earn yourself a perfect rating. This idea definitely needs to be replicated by more drivers. With their own personal spin on it, of course.
