Last week was a rollercoaster ride of emotions for everyone as Delhi’s ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ went from a struggling business to a popular eatery within hours, all thanks to the good people on social media! After its success, people from all across the country vouched to help similar people struggling to make ends meet, like Agra’s 90-year-old ‘Kanji Vada’ uncle.
And now, Keralites have come together to help Parvathy Amma, an old lady in Karimba who runs an eatery and is struggling to earn money due to a lack of customers, reports Times Now. Journalist Aarif Shah recently took to Twitter to post a video of Parvathy Amma, calling for help.
Kerala Story : This old lady runs a Dhaba in order to feed her family. She doesn't have customers & struggles to earn. It’s resilient and delicious Parvathyamma’s eatery at Karimba, near Mannarkkad.

Several people online, including Richa Chadha, showered their support on Parvathy Amma. Many vouched to help her financially and to visit her dhaba when they visit Kerala.

Is there any way I can be of help? I live in Lucknow. I seek Ammathai’s blessings and wish her a world of happiness. Just hope that the noble citizens of Kerala rally around her and bring her eatery back to business now.

Aarif ji, this video brought actual tears to my eyes. Wish I could do something for ‘Ammathai’ but I am so far away. What a pure and gentle heart! Even in such depravity she is able to afford a smile. An inspiration to us, ordinary mortals. I pray and pray for her happiness.

Sir she may not even have a phone . This place is very near to Palakkad city. You can get bus or autoriksha.
Palakkad is the bordering city of Coimbatore which is in Timilnadu.— CMD (@cmdhar007) October 11, 2020
Come on Kerala. After Delhi and Agra, it is your turn.

We hope that with the help of social media, Parvathy Amma’s dhaba becomes the next ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’!
