Journalist Catches Her Falling Tooth On Live TV & Continues Reading The News, Watch Video

TV reporters and anchors often have bizarre encounters while on live TV because it is extremely difficult to manage everything that happens around. Earlier, a journalist got photobombed by a dog on a bike. A TV journalist’s cats were also seen fighting behind her while she was live on TV. Now, a news anchor dropped her front tooth while she was presenting a live bulletin.

Marichka Padalko was presenting the news live on Ukrainian TV when her tooth came out from her mouth, reported Times Now. While most of would have panicked or burst into laughter at that point, Padalko kept her calm and smartly caught the falling tooth. She then continued with her bulletin as if nothing happened.

Padalko posted a video of the hilarious incident on her social media.

In the caption, she laughed about her new ‘glory’ and said how it wasn’t the first time something weird happened to her when she was live on air. She also explained how her tooth broke in the first place.

Padalko, however, was overwhelmed with the amount of love she has been receiving for behaving in a professional manner on live TV.

Her captions roughly translate to:

“The new “glory” came from nowhere and support too. Yes, I really lost a part of my front tooth today during the live broadcast of TSN at 9:00). This is probably my most curious experience in twenty years as a presenter. Live broadcasting is wonderful because it is always unpredictable. Yes, in 2013 I saw for the first time live on my air footage of her husband’s detention at a protest near the Kyiv City Council, and a few years ago during the release a dog that ran from the studio @snidanok suddenly started licking my leg.

This time my colleague @nata_goncharova wrote to me, saying, “You reacted as if you were losing your teeth every day”. No, not every day. It’s just that right now I’ve decided to correct the annoyance that happened more than ten years ago. I had a heavy metal alarm clock in my bedroom and once my little daughter was very interested. She grabbed him from the windowsill and began waving a “toy” around his sleeping mother. And as soon as I yawned, a small cheerful pen knocked out half of my tooth. Now I have finally decided on a more radical repair. Only she was not very attentive to her dentist’s ban on biting food with her front teeth until the end of treatment. Actually, that’s why what happened happened.

Honestly, I thought the incident would go unnoticed. This episode was deliberately not posted on the TSN YouTube channel. But we underestimated the attention of our viewers. Blogger @ekulka posted this in her profile and it spread to all publications, not only Ukrainian ones.

Throughout this story, I was personally impressed by the amount of support I received, both in the comments and in personal messages. Friends, thank you very much. In any situation, keep calm. See you tomorrow morning at @tsnua.

Kudos to Padalko for not losing her calm. As they say, the show must go on!
