Donald Trump has got the whole worried indeed. And some Indians decided to do something about it.
Te-a-me is a Kolkata-based tea company which actually send a huge box full of 6000 tea bags to last him his whole term if he becomes the President in the hope that the green tea actually knocks some sense into him.
Two Indian women clad in a sari launched themselves right in front of the Trump Tower in New York to gift him the box of Assam green tea.
The box was accompanied with a letter that actually made their intention clear with a polite but sharp humor. It said,
Dear Mr. Trump,
Namaste from India, we are sending you lots and lots of natural green tea. It fights against harmful free radicals. It helps purify mind and body and regain a healthy balance. It has also proven to make people smarter.
The message is simple: Mr. Trump, it’s never too late to cleanse yourself.
The audacity to pull off a stunt like that is indeed admirable.
They even made a video in which New Yorkers are proclaiming ‘Tea for Trump’!
Great job Te-a-me! I hope this initiative is fruitful indeed. 😉
