Soon after Donald Trump was declared the winner of the 2016 US Presidential Election, as is customary, the president-elect had a meeting with the incumbent president, Barack Obama. The meeting seemed to be quite amicable on the face of it but the awkwardness of it all was quite hilarious!
Trump was never a big fan of Obama. He made that very clear.
President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!

However, the two tried their level best to show that they had ‘buried the hatchet’.
Here are some pictures from this supremely awkward meeting:Â
1. I hope he hasn’t gone through my twitter feed. *fingers crossed*

2. Yeah, everything’s fine. We’re fine. It’s cool. It’s all good. Ooo.. apples!

3. Oh no, he’s crushing my little hand. No. Don’t show pain. Man up. C’mon!

4. Obama: I’m actually handing over control to this guy… willingly!

5. However, the White House staff… they did not even TRY to hide their sentiments.Â

Try as best you might, you have to admit, kings from warring factions in medieval tribes have had less awkward encounters with each other.
