PM Justin Trudeau Just Introduced A Bill To Legalise Weed In Canada. YEAH!

I’m sure we all agree Justin Trudeau is the most progressive Prime Minister in the world today. He’s a feminist, supports LGBTQ rights and is all for the legalisation of weed. In fact, ending the prohibition of marijuana in Canada was a highlight among the things he promised Canadian voters back in 2015. Fast forward to 2017, lo and behold, Trudeau is actually following through with it.

Most recently, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau introduced legislation to legalise the recreational use of marijuana (weed) throughout the country from next year.

If it goes through, Canada would be the second country after Uruguay to completely legalise marijuana for personal use, recreational or otherwise.

His proposed rules would allow all Canadians over the age of 18 to possess up to 30 grams of weed.

Moreover, the rules would also allow people to have up to four marijuana plants growing in their own house.

Moreover, there will be proper safeguards in place. You will not be allowed to drive within 2 hours of smoking up. And the sale of marijuana to minors will come with a 14-year jail sentence.

Now that’s super progressive, wouldn’t you agree?

Kudos, Mr Trudeau! Thank you for taking such a bold step in the right direction.
