“Stop Running After Govt Jobs, Milk Cows Instead.” Tripura CM Biplab Deb Sparks Another Outrage

I think by now we all know who Biplab Deb is. Yep he’s the same Tripura CM who said that the internet was present at the time of the Mahabharat. Netizens obviously lost their mind over this statement and trolled the minister royally. However, it wasn’t long before Deb made news again by saying, “Indian beauty should ideally look like Goddesses Lakshmi and Saraswati. Diana Hayden did not deserve to win the Miss World crown.”

It’s almost like he is making news only for all the wrong reasons. Don’t fret guys, if you think that was the end of his foot in the mouth incident, you’ve got it wrong.

Biplab Deb, Tripura CM has now said that the youth should not waste ‘crucial time’ running after government jobs. Instead they should focus on milking cows and running paan shops.

Yep. According to News 18, he made this rather bizarre statement on Sunday and we’re still trying to figure out WHY!?

He said,

“Why run after netas for government jobs? Graduates should get cows and milk it to earn Rs 10 lakh in 10 years. Instead of running after political parties, had the same youth set up a paan shop, he would have had a bank balance of Rs 5 lakh by now.”

Little insensitive don’t you think Mr. Deb?

Not just this, he also made a ridiculous statement saying that only civil engineers should opt for the Civil Services Examination as they are well versed in running an administration and society.

In a report by Times of India, he said, “After pursuing mechanical engineering one should not go for Civil Services. Instead, civil engineers should join Civil Services as they have the knowledge and experience to help build administration and society.”

He said earlier it was arts graduates who took the exam, however, now it is people from all disciplines who appear.

The statement obviously didn’t go unheard by tweepeople. They hilariously trolled him.

1. It’s the truth.

2. ‘Em serious questions.

5. The irony isn’t lost on me.

6. Meow!

7. Mujhe bhi!

Personally, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that one person could make so many faux pas. I guess he’s living with the ‘there’s nothing as bad press’ mantra.
