Ever since the Himachal Pradesh government eased travel restrictions, tourists from across the country have been flocking to the state. From causing massive traffic jams to littering popular destinations, it’s worrying to see people treat the ongoing pandemic lightly.
Recently, pictures of the overcrowded streets of Manali have been going viral online.
According to News18, Mohinder Seth, the President of Tourism Industry Stakeholder Association said, “The occupancy in the hotels remains between 60 and 90 percent during weekends, while on other days it remains around 40-45 percent.”
