From Santa Claus to the Tooth Fairy, there were many hilarious lies our parents told us about to protect us from the big, bad world. Just like other children, I too innocently believed in all of them as we all tried to make sense of the complicated world around us. For instance, I thought chocolate milk came exclusively from brown cows, and that my flimsy old blanket would protect me from the monsters underneath my bed. And it turned out to be fake news!
A Twitter user invited all desis to share the silliest things they believed to be true as a kid.
