If there is one thing I have learnt from watching several movies and TV shows, it is that robberies have to be planned with immense caution. One mistake and the thief will end up in jail.
However, one thief didn’t seem to get the memo. In a hilarious incident in Aniyapuram, located in the Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu, a thief got stuck inside an ATM between the machine and the wall while trying to steal cash.
According to Times Now, he has been identified as 28-year-old M Upendra Roy hailing from Bihar. He was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and he tried to get to the ATM machine through the wall behind it. Eventually, he got stuck and wasn’t able to get out of the situation.
After residents nearby heard noises coming from the ATM, they informed the police. On arrival, the police found him in an awkward situation, rescued him, and took him into custody.
