Anupam Kher featured in two of the most dramatic and most funny movies of 2018, Aiyaary and Baa Baa Black Sheep, respectively. The actor is on a spree to explore the wide spectrum of genres in Bollywood. He has also tried his hand in American TV shows New Amsterdam and Mr Wilson this year.
Anupam Kher is all set to return to the silver screen with yet another eccentric drama revolving around former Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The film is based on 2014 memoir of the same name by policy analyst Sanjay Baru, who served as Singh’s media advisor between 2004 and 2008. Directed by debutant filmmaker, Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, the trailer of the film dropped in on Thursday. Kher as Singh looks effortless in the trailer. From his looks to the accent, Kher has replicated the former Prime Minister to the T. The film depicts the journey of Dr. Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister in power. From the nuclear deal to Kashmir issue and corruption scam, the film paints the picture of the inside story during his reign at the PMO.
