Thai PM Sprays Sanitiser On Journalists To Avoid Answering Their Questions, Watch Video

The Prime Minister of Thailand Prayuth Chan-ocha holds a weekly news conference in Bangkok where members of the press can ask him questions. However, on Tuesday, when journalists asked him about a cabinet reshuffle, he left his podium and sprayed hand sanitiser on them while holding a surgical mask over his face, reports BBC.

According to The Indian Express, the journalists had asked questions on potential candidates for vacant cabinet posts after three of his ministers were jailed last week. The Thai PM was quoted saying,

“Is there anything else to ask?”. I don’t know, I haven’t seen it. Isn’t it something the prime minister should know first?”

People were equal parts amused and shocked after seeing the video footage. Here is how they reacted:

India Today reports that later he spoke to the reporters while still spraying sanitiser and left the conference. What do you think of this incident?
