Telangana Girl Who Was Rejected By Parents For Running Away With Boy Becomes Board Exams Topper

A 17-year-old girl from Telangana ran away with a boy when she was 14-15 years old. She did so because after her parents got to know about their relationship, they weren’t supportive of it. However, since she was underage, the police tracked her down and brought her home. But her parents didn’t allow her into the house.

After getting rejected by her family, the girl was forced to stay in a children’s home for girls. On the flip side, she had a bright mind and was brilliant in academics. A student of Kallam Anji Reddy Vocational Junior College, she recently topped the class 12 state board exams with a score of 945 marks, reported Moneycontrol.

She also, very recently, started to talk again with her parents who are now asking her to come back home.

“Just a month or two months ago, I resumed talking to my parents. When they learnt about my marks, they were really happy and asked me to come back. I haven’t really thought if I will go back,” she said.

The girl now wants to pursue commerce and has decided that she will only go back home once she starts earning a living.

“I have decided to opt for BCom because I can study and do some accountancy work and eventually become a professor. I want to go back home only after I earn,” she said.

Kudos to her! We wish she does well in her life. 🙂
