Teacher Tells Class To Write Resume As A Marvel Character, One Clever Student Chooses Groot

Marvel Studios has recently completed 10 years of their cinematic journey. They’ve raked in billions of dollars and innumerable fans in the process. And since they’ve translated everyone’s favourite characters faithfully from the page to the screen, each of them are revered very highly in the fandom.

Now, some of the most popular ones are Tony Stark, Steve Rogers or Black Widow. However, ever since James Gunn introduced the Guardians of the Galaxy, there’s a large chunk of the fandom rooting for Groot. Some of them are so hardcore that they even speak his language. Don’t believe me? Well, take a look.

A teacher from USA, Jeffrey Scott Davis, gave his students an assignment to write a resume. However, it had a Marvel based twist and one of his students took it way too seriously.

“Last week, my students had to pick a Marvel character to embody within a resume and cover letter. The idea that you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take lives within one particular student of mine.”

The goal of this assignment was to probably work on the students’ resume-writing skills. And since Marvel characters are fairly relatable, they could’ve used their features as a template to express themselves. However, as the teacher didn’t provide any limitations, one student chose the character who speaks only three words, Groot.

Groot is a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy and due to his vocal limitations, he can only say ‘I am Groot’. And since the student chose him for the resume-writing assignment, the results were hilarious.

If you haven’t fallen out of your chair laughing at this yet, you’ll after you see what the student had in store for the teacher after this introduction.

Yup! You guessed it. The student has officially mastered the art of the language of Groot and beaten the teacher at his own game.

When news of this fan of Groot hit the internet, everyone exploded with laughter and lauded the student’s presence of mind.

This is certainly one of the most funniest things to have come out of the Marvel fandom and the best use of a running joke in the movies. Thankfully, the teacher admired this student’s humour and has given him top marks. Rejoice Marvel fans because we are Groot!
