Gauri Tripathi, Village School Teacher, Drives Kids To School Every Day To Ensure Their Safety

In many parts of rural India, reaching school can be a tough journey for children. Long distances, poor transportation, and challenging routes often keep kids from attending regularly. Despite these obstacles, some individuals go above and beyond to make education accessible.

One such inspiring person is Gauri Tripathi, a determined young woman from Bihar’s Bhojpur district, who ensures that children reach school safely every day, reported News18.

Her journey began in 2016 when she established RR Shiksha Niketan, a private school in Kasap village for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Initially, she hired a driver to transport the kids. However, after a serious incident where the driver, under the influence of alcohol, crashed the school vehicle into a pole, Gauri made a life-changing decision. She decided to learn to drive herself, prioritizing the children’s safety above all else.

Every morning, she drives her passenger vehicle over a 10-kilometre route, picking up schoolchildren and taking them to class. But her efforts don’t stop there. She gives a ride to other passengers as well.

Gauri Tripathi believes no job is too big or small if one has the commitment and self-belief!
