People Are Not Happy With Tanmay Bhat’s Snapchat About Sachin Tendulkar And Lata Mangeshkar

“A sense of humour is the pole that adds balance to our steps as we walk the tightrope of life.”

I am a huge fan of AIB and Tanmay Bhat in particular. But just because he has a sense of humour doesn’t mean everything he says is funny.

Case in point, his latest Snapchat video that he also posted to his Facebook account where he is seen using face-swap and cracking jokes at the expense of Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar.

 

His joke was not taken in good humour and pretty soon, people from all communities, including Bollywood celebrities, slammed him for insulting Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar

Soon after, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena led by Raj Thackery decided to file an FIR against Tanmay Bhat mocking the two legends and also demanded that the video be removed from the internet.

MNS leader Ameya Kopekar said, “This act is condemnable, these videos are just mere publicity stunts. Forgiveness won’t do, these people should be caught on the road and beaten up. Cyber cell and Shivaji Park Police Station should arrest them, that’s our demand. We need an FIR against them. We will protest and he won’t be able to come out on the road. We won’t let his shows happen anymore.”

 

It didn’t take long for the comedian to start getting flak from everybody else, and he started tweeting about it too.
