The film which looks like a sensible take on the ups and downs of a husband-wife relationship has been backed by a talented cast of debutant Pavail Gulati, veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah, Ram Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Kumud Mishra among others.
‘Thappad’ which has just hit the cinema halls has been receiving a warm welcome by the audience and critics on social media. While most of the viewers are happy with Taapsee’s commendable performance in the film, a few others feel that the film promotes ‘divorce culture’.
