Congratulations are in order as actor Swara Bhasker got hitched to the love of her life, political activist Fahad Zirar Ahmad. They had a court marriage and their union was legalised under the Special Marriage Act, which applies to interfaith marriages. Swara took to social media to share the happy news with a wonderful and touching video of their journey – from walking in political rallies to finding love in each other.

Swara Bhasker also took to Twitter to share pictures from her big day. Wearing her mother’s red saree, a white embroidered blouse and again, her mom’s jewellery, she looked like such a happy and content bride.
