Sushmita Sen Speaks Of COVID-19 Lockdown, Says She Misses Work The Most

Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen has been inspiring people to live life without regrets and do whatever they feel is good for them. The actor became a single parent at the age of 24 when she adopted her elder daughter Renee. And after a decade, she brought her younger daughter Alisah into her life.

The ‘Biwi No. 1’ actor has been active on social media, giving us an insight into her life. And yesterday, she came live on her IG account with her two daughters and her current partner Rohman Shawl.

She started the live video with a ‘fun fact’ and stated how in one of the articles Rohman was called Rohman Scarf, reports Hindustan Times. “As if Shawl wasn’t bad enough, now scarf,” laughed Sushmita. Rohman was quick to respond to her hilarious remarks and said, “Don’t make fun of my surname.”

During their live interaction, one of her followers asked her, “When will you get married?” Sushmita immediately turned to Rohman and said to him, “The question is for you.”

Talking about the current situation in the country, she said:

“It’s hard on everybody but now if you ask me, what do I miss the most? Well, working. I miss working.”

“I think the world cannot survive on staying in a lockdown. We have to have our purpose back and we have to have a way to remain independent. Let us hope, finally, beginning May, we get back to ourselves and get into action in full force.”

The bong beauty also wished her virtual family, ‘Subho Noboborsho’ on the occasion of Bengali New Year.

Towards the end of the video, the family read out comments from her followers and thanked them for their love and support. They also sang a Bengali song together and Sushmita praised Alisah for remembering the entire song.

Sushmita is currently spending her quarantine time with her family in India. We love how she always reflects positivity and love. Keep inspiring, ma’am. Dugga Dugga!
