Sushma Swaraj’s reign as the External Affairs Minister of India saw yet another feather being added to her hat as a six-year-old missing child case that was almost written off, was solved, much to the joy of the young boy’s family.
Swaraj broke the news of the 12-year-old, who was lost 6 years ago, was to come back home soon after he had been spotted at a shelter in Jessore, Bangladesh.
Sonu – who was kidnapped from Delhi was found in a shelter home in Bangladesh. We matched the DNA with his mother. The test is positive./1

A man in Jessore identified the boy and the contacted his family. Soon, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka was prompt enough to take custody of the boy who will reach his home on June 30th. The commendable work was not left unappreciated by Twitter.

Tracing a lost boy all the way to Bangladesh and bringing him home is definitely a huge achievement on the government’s part.
