Last week, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the Supreme Court that a CBI probe had been approved in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Thereafter, Rhea Chakraborty’s legal team shared screenshots of Whatsapp chats that show the late actor allegedly calling his elder sister Priyanka’s actions “pure evil” and adding that she is “manipulating Sid Bhai”, reports News18.
The authenticity of the chats has not been verified yet.
Shweta Singh Kirti has now posted an old interview where Sushant speaks of his bond with Priyanka seemingly replying to the allegations. She captioned the video saying, “He admits he was closest to his sister Priyanka (Sonu Di) because she gets him…❤️”
When asked about the person he is closest to and has a ‘Pavitra Rishta’ with, Sushant can be heard saying, “Close with everybody, but yea, one of my sisters (Priyanka aka Sonu Di) – I’m the closest to because she gets me. The kind of things we think are very similar.”
The late actor’s niece, Mallika Singh, commented on the post saying, “Yes, they were truly inseparable.”
The investigation in the matter is still underway. We hope it concludes soon and the truth comes to the surface.
