Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has indeed left the entire country mourning. His sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, recently posted a heartfelt note for him on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, which has left many emotional.
However, Ganesh Hiwarkar, the late actor’s friend and choreographer recently reveals how Sushant once talked him out of suicide, reports Hindustan Times.
“When my girlfriend broke up with me, I was so depressed that I wanted to commit suicide, it was Sushant who sat with me for many hours explaining that I should not take the step. He even spoke to my friend,” Ganesh said.
Ganesh further adds, “As far as I knew him, he could never be depressed about career, personal relationships or financial issues. In Sushant’s life there was no such thing as ‘failure’, he would immediately forget and focus on the future. I cannot believe that he would commit suicide due to career, relationship or financial reasons.”
Unless it is proved in the court of law, narratives involving depression, foul play, and nepotism are all but speculations. All we can do is wait for the investigation to run its course. May the truth prevail.
