2016 was a big year for Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor received accolades from all over for his stellar portrayal of MS Dhoni in the biopic of the legendary Indian cricketer. While he got into the big league last year, Sushant has plans to make 2017 even better. In a recent interview, the actor got candid about his past, present and future.
Speaking of award shows, Sushant said that he feels awkward when he doesn’t get acknowledged for his performance in ‘MS Dhoni: An Untold Story’. He said that the movie was a special experience and he really enjoyed living the character.
When asked about his favourite performances from last year, Sushant had two of them in his mind.
“As far as performances are concerned, I think Manoj Bajpayee in Aligarh and Swara Bhaskar in Nil Battey Sannata are my favourites of 2016.”
Sushant also disclosed what kind of films he will produce if he decides to become a producer some day.
Talking about his split with Ankita Lokhande after being in a relationship for seven years, Sushant said that he is not a person who dwells on the past.
“I lack skills to think about past and future in a deep sense. I don’t reflect and anticipate. I like sticking to what it is at this point of time.”
Seems like Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to make 2017 his year.
