Last night was a spectacle to behold and capture! It was the spectacular night of ‘Supermoon’, after all. Unearthly, as it was, the moon looked around 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than the average full moon.
And hear this, it was the closest the moon has ever been to the Earth since 1948. The next you ask? Not until 2034!
Goes without a mention, the entire globe was a skywatcher last night. In fact, the frenzy turned everybody into a lensmen/women. From amateurs with a camera to professional photographers, heck even smartphone users (including me) were out to capture the magnificent moon in its full glory. Look at the pictures to believe.
