Last night, a breathtaking celestial wonder called the ‘Super Flower Moon’ was visible; named so because of all the spring flowers blooming around this time in the Northern Hemisphere. According to The Times of India, it also has other names like the ‘Corn Planting Moon’, ‘Mother’s Moon’, and ‘Milk Moon’.
Apart from its obvious beauty, the flower moon was bigger and brighter than a normal full moon due to its closeness to our blue planet. Which is why stargazers and photographers took full advantage and captured its brilliance on camera. Here are 12 of their most stunning pictures:

According to Forbes, this was the last of the 4 supermoons to grace the skies in 2020 and the next one (Super Pink Moon) will be observed on April 27, 2021. However, Halloween i.e. October 31, 2020, will delight us with two full moons, a rare event called the ‘Blue Moon’.
