Cricket that has today become a religion in India unifies us all in the most unique way. When it comes to supporting the Men in Blue, Indian cricket fans leave no stone unturned. And these fans are not just young teenagers or middle-aged people we often see at the stadiums. Sometimes what we miss are those elderly fans who come all the way to the pavilion to support their favourite players. And among the many zealous fans like ‘Chacha Chicago’ who support cricketers in their most unique way was 87-year-old Charulata Patel.
Also would like to thank all our fans for all the love & support & especially Charulata Patel ji. She's 87 and probably one of the most passionate & dedicated fans I've ever seen. Age is just a number, passion takes you leaps & bounds. With her blessings, on to the next one. 🙏🏼😇 pic.twitter.com/XHII8zw1F2

Patel was first seen during a world cup match between India and Bangladesh. Patel, who was also termed as the “Fan of the Match” by people online, was seen with a tricolour scarf rooting for the team with her trumpet. But sadly, the lady who made headlines because of her infectious energy and love for the sport is no more among us, reported TOI.
