I once read somewhere, “The sun sees your body, the moon sees your soul.” I didn’t understand the depth of that sentence until last night. Until I saw the rare Super Blue Blood Moon 2018, a phenomenon that occurs once in 150 years. There is a certain beauty in the sight of a full moon that touches the dark depths of your soul. And why not, it’s light illuminates the earth every night, so it’s only understandable that it sheds light on your darkness too.
I clearly couldn’t get enough of this beautiful super blue blood moon by just seeing the sky from where I live. So I searched the net far and wide to get just a bit more glimpses of it and decided to share it with you.
I put together breath-taking pictures of the super blue blood moon from all over the world. Almost. But I tried. So here it is, a visual treat that will please your eyes as well as your soul.
You can thank me later.

5. From amidst the hazy clouds, the moon shone brightly in Brazil.
6. Just like the Turkish delights, the Turkish supermoon is equally satisfying.
7. Perfectly captured click of the still rising moon in Istanbul.
8. Even from behind the thick cloudy sky, the brightness of the moon makes its way to brighten the night in Florida.
9. It looks unreal, like a wallpaper. Or as if someone has stuck a cut-out of the moon in the sky in Indonesia.
10. The aesthetics of this picture from Kentucky is pleasing the amateur photographer in me.

I know, I’ll stop. I got carried away with the philosophies of the moon. But see what I mean? I’m still reeling from the after-effects of witnessing the rare moon. After all, it only occurs once in like 150 years. So we’re allowed, right?
