Sunny Leone Talking About How She Plans To Raise Her Daughter Is Parenting Done Right

Sunny Leone, I recall reading, is the most googled celebrity. But before you make any assumptions let me tell you, I’m not here to dig dirt about her past as an adult star. I’m here to talk about the independent woman who is trying to fight stereotypes and make it big in an industry like Bollywood.

Actually, I’m not being completely honest. I’m here to re-introduce you to Sunny Leone, the new mommy on the block. Let me remind you, it’s only been a couple of weeks that Sunny and husband, Daniel Weber, have adopted a baby girl from Latur. But their love for their bundle of joy, Nisha, goes beyond that.

In a candid interview to The Quint, Sunny Leone has opened up about the new phase in her life and how it has changed her as a person. She said,

“It’s been a lot of paperwork for the last two years. But since Nisha has come home, it’s been a dream come true! She is the most beautiful little girl in the world.We are so blessed she has picked us to be her parents.”

my outlook on life is different. I look at Nisha and she gives me that big smile and everything that’s wrong with the world doesn’t exist. She is the light of our lives!

 

The 36-year-old actress even opened up about the time and ways the couple plans to raise their kid and it is parenting done right.

“We try to do a lot together as a family, as much as possible. When we have to work, we just switch off. We have help but prefer to do everything ourselves for Nisha.”

 

When quizzed about the decision of adopting a child and not having her own, Sunny’s answer was directly from the heart.

“It’s just one more thing that my husband and I are on the same page about.”

 

Talking about her future plans for her baby girl, the Canadian beauty shared another ideal parenting technique. 

“Our main focus at this time is just to help her adjust to her new life. She will go to school because she is so smart and wants to confront all the opportunities to grow mentally and physically. Our plans at this moment are more about the immediate needs than many years down the road. Daniel and I will focus on teaching her to be an independent woman who can become the President if she wants to, or a doctor, artist, or a beekeeper (laughs). The world is her oyster and Daniel and I are here to help all her dreams come true.”

 

Before concluding, Sunny also spoke about her struggle with adoption in India and it couldn’t make more sense.

“We are still filing paper work at this very moment and I am happy that the Indian Government is so diligent in this.”
