Sunil Gavaskar Says ‘Chal Phutt’ To Those Who Criticised Motera Stadium, Sparks Meme-Fest

Team England has suffered an embarrassing 10-wicket loss in the third test match against India recently. Several cricketing personalities including Michael Vaughan, David Lloyd, Andrew Strauss, and Alastair Cook criticized the Motera stadium pitch, holding it accountable for their loss, reports The Hindu.

Sunil Gavaskar, however, responded to the criticism in an epic way! He credited the Indian spinners rather than blaming the surface, reports News18.

“The discussion should’ve been around bowling and batting. The batsmen got bowled or were given LBW, how can we call it a bad pitch? Why do we give so much importance to foreign players? Why should we discuss what they are saying,” Sunil Gavaskar said.

He then added that to such critics, people should say “Chal phutt” which translates to “get lost”.
