Not long ago, a proud brother who we all know by the name Hrithik Roshan shared his sister’s inspiring transformation from flab-to-fit and it was all over the internet.
If you need a little help with your memory, here is how Hrithik chose to share his joy and commend his sister, Sunaina on her drastic body transformation.
Now that's what I call a transformation !! So so proud of you didi @roshansunaina #keepgoing #impossibleisNothing pic.twitter.com/yQA4OZ4N9K

Needless to say, it wasn’t all a cakewalk and now Sunaina, the actor’s elder sister is ready to talk about…
In an interview to Spotboye, Sunaina Roshan has finally opened about her weight-loss journey and it deserves a read. Looking back, she said it was depression that got her.
“My grandfather fell ill and underwent angiography, two weeks later my brother (Hrithik) had to undergo brain surgery and then his divorce.
I could not handle everything. I went into depression and started eating a lot.”
Sunaina who is also an author even spoke about her other health issues she dealt with.
Not just that Sunaina even confessed that at a point of time, she feared for her life.
“I was living on a time-bomb. I would have died 3 years ago. I was even suspected to have developed cervical cancer, but thankfully the biopsy came negative.”
But that was before Sunaina found the will to fight for her life and happiness.
It was then when Sunaina decided to go for a bariatric surgery and voila.
“I was 140 kg before I was wheeled in, I am 65 kg today.
I lost 50 kg in one year. Yes, one year. That’s why you haven’t seen me around for one year.
She was treated by Muffazal Lakdawala, who earlier helped the Egyptian woman, Eman.
But the feat doesn’t stop her. She intends to maintain a healthy lifestyle and live her life on her own terms.
Isn’t it just lovely? Thank you for sharing your story with us, Sunaina. It takes a lot more than just hard work to reach where you have. Kudos!
