Yes, we are a Bollywood-obsessed nation. We want to know, what are favourite stars are doing and when, but with the boom of paparazzi culture and the abhorrent breach of privacy, stars of today are walking with bodyguards (Shahrukh even has lady bodyguards) instead of fame.
And it isn’t restricted to just them, but their social and private lives too. Unfortunately speaking, even the kids. From getting snapped while chilling with friends to braving intruding lenses, star kids do not have it easy. Recently, another B-town beti was in the news and the headlines will make you sick in the stomach!
A leading publication decided to do a ‘story’ on Suhana, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter and ran a headline that makes us wanna quit our jobs!
I understand that we live in a world of ever-changing numbers, but do we have to be an ‘NGO’ to not spread such vile and derogatory/ suggestive pieces? Can we not keep objectifying certifications to CBFC? Do we really NEED A TEEN TO SPICE UP OUR DAY?
Needless to say, Twitter noticed it out in open and condemned the publication for dragging Suhana into the filth, that is TODAY’s journalism.
1. SICK
Depressing to see the vile stuff being peddled by big name news brands. Nothing is sacred for clickbait journalism. Just sick pic.twitter.com/ZFcVWYQOKm

2. Can there be one, really?
Dear @IndiaToday, you better have an explanation for this sexualization of a teenager. pic.twitter.com/0lYDprai7H Pic via @indiantweeter

3. 16 years old! 16!
Suhana khan is 16 years old, indiatoday wants you to spice up your Friday by looking at 20 photos of a 16 year old. Brilliant journalism. pic.twitter.com/IED46imDyN

Eventually, the publication decided to change the headline, from pathetic to promotion!
Instead of taking down the article @indiatoday has changed the headline!!! 🤣 pic.twitter.com/BLlM6SHYSc

I am aware that there is huge curiosity about the lifestyle that the star kids lead but it’s high time we learn how and where to draw a line!
