Hyderabad Man Makes Cars Shaped Like Brooms, Ladoos & More Using Scrap From The Junkyard!

India is dotted with interesting museums that truly are sights to behold. There is The Brain museum in Bangalore, Shankar’s International Dolls Museum and also the Sulabh International Toilet Museum in New Delhi to name a few. Each is creative in its own respect and frequented by many.

K.Sudhakar Yadav from Hyderabad owns one such museum and it is the “Sudha Cars Museum”. The USP is that it houses the wackiest cars, buses and bikes you’ve ever seen. Each vehicle is handcrafted by Mr. Sudhakar himself using scrap materials.

Hindustan Times quoted him saying, “Making cars is my hobby since childhood. While I was in the United States in the 90s, I saw a skating shoe car in a carnival which inspired me to make some wacky designs on my own. A shoe-shaped car was my first design, followed by one that resembles a brinjal and another one a helmet.”

He further added, “These cars are made up of scrap collected from the junkyard and each car has a different suspension and different wheel placement, which takes about three months to a whole year to make. At present, I have 55 wacky cars and my target is to reach 100. It might take about 10 to 15 years to achieve my target.”

Many school students visit the museum apart from engineering students who arrive to take notes. The automobile enthusiast is also a Guinness World Record holder for his creation “The Largest Tricycle in the World”. These are some of the most unusual ones we found.

Broom-shaped car inspired by cleanliness drives.

Brinjal-shaped bus that has its own fully-functional kitchen.

Festival themed Ladoo and Shivalinga-shaped cars

National Flag Car built to commemorate the country’s 70th Independence day.

We saved the best for last, a condom-shaped bike! Actors Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana went for a spin in it while promoting their movie Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

If you could suggest a wacky idea for his next car, what would it be? A laptop, a candle or a telephone maybe?
