Amid Rising Divorces, Married Women Share Advice On How To Have A Strong Marriage

Couples are calling quits on their marriage and getting a divorce more frequently than they did a few decades back. Many are of the opinion that it is so because people are not afraid of walking out of abusive and unhappy relationships and that the stigma around divorce is not as bad as it was back in the day. However, with back to back celebrity separations that have happened recently, including those of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, many have expressed their worry.

Women on Reddit who have been married for over a decade shared their advice on how to keep one’s marriage strong. It was when one user shared that a lot of people within her extended circle have been divorced, not had kids, and have been married to the wrong person.
