Real-Life Bajrangi Bhaijaan? Girl Finds Out Mystery Man Who Helped Her Travel To The US In 2003

If this incident would have happened some 3 years back, everyone would have accused Salman Khan of plagiarism! In his blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bhai turned the world upside down to reunite five-year-old Munni with her mother in Pakistan.

A similar real-life story of a stranger helping a five-year-old girl from Seria to travel to the US has been doing rounds on the internet.

15 years back, a mother asked a stranger to help her five-year-old daughter travel to the US from war-stricken Sierra Leon for emergency medical treatment. Zee Sesay could not accompany her daughter Maya Huges to the US in 2003 when she faced a life-death emergency and so approached a stranger at the airport and asked him to help her out.

The little girl, who is now a grown up 20-year-old lives in California presently. She, recently, shared her story on Twitter. The Twitter thread went viral as soon as it was shared by none other than the stranger itself.

Tom Perriello, now a Virginia congressman has turned out to be the mystery man who helped Zee’s daughter to travel to the US in 2003.

Maya Huges narrated her story of the mystery man that came to her rescue 15 years back on Twitter.

Have a look at the Twitter thread of her story that went viral:

The inspiring story of Maya Huges went viral in no time, ultimately reaching the mystery man. Tom Perriello retweeted the entire thread with a message for Huges.

The inspiring story of Maya Huges has touched several hearts on Twitter. This is how people reacted to the viral thread:

  1. Her mom is a superhero, indeed!

2. Tom Perriello deserves all the praise!

3. While the story offended few Africans, here’s why!

4. Even we would love to hear more such stories.

5. Yes, some politicians actually serve the purpose of being one!

6. Thanks A Lot God!

And hence, Salman Khan gets the inspiration to produce the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan where probably a 20-year-old Munni will be heading out to look for Bajrangi!

Yeah, Bhai, you can thank us later!
