UP Cop’s Stolen Parrot Chooses Freedom When Asked To Fly To Its Owner

Going outside for the first time after this lockdown ends is going to be an inexpressible feeling. After all, we all have been confined at home for a long time. And, honestly, I miss the sweet freedom to explore the beautiful outdoors now more than ever.

Speaking of which, a parrot recently chose his freedom above everything else. It all began when, a parrot belonging to an inspector in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh went missing. The inspector Ram Kripal, posted in the PAC, claimed that his neighbor had stolen the parrot, reports News18.

However, his neighbors claimed that they owned the parrot. Eventually, the matter reached the Ashiana police station. And, taking a rather unusual approach for judgment, the station in-charge said that he would open the cage and let the parrot choose his owner.

“The parrot will obviously go to its master,” he was quoted saying to the claimants. As soon the cage was opened, the parrot without much ado flew chose his freedom as it flew out into the open sky. The bird disowned both the claimants, who returned home quite disappointed. Well, at least the parrot is happy!
