The day before yesterday, India celebrated its 75th Independence day with fervor and enthusiasm. Social media was flooded with images of people proudly posing with the Tricolour flag. And among them was Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan who posted a picture with the Indian flag a day before the Indian independence day.

SRK also shared a video on his social media wherein he was teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our freedom fighters for our country by letting them hoist the flag at his residence.
Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly. pic.twitter.com/3tNCjkLAgt

This was a moment of pride for Indians, irrespective of their religion, living in this democratic, secular republic. However, in these 75 years, we were not able to free society from hate mongers, some of whom trolled the ‘Badshah’ of B-town and questioned his patriotism.

But he made sure to employ a photographer to capture it properly so that he can show off his ‘so-called’ deshbhakti ….
Oh God ..

However, there were some sensible ones who gave the trolls the taste of their own medicine.
So proud of you man. This guy gets criticised unnecessaraly, never tried to prove his patriotism, does what he wants, never bothered, and makes India proud by his work. A ture KING. 👑

Shah Rukh Khan is the most secular Indian I know.
He celebrates all the Indian festivals with full enthusiasm. Spreads love across the globe and makes INDIA proud

Clearly, there are still a lot of things we need independence from and this hate-mongering and criticising people on the basis of their religion is one of them.
