Shah Rukh Khan Fulfills This Couple’s ‘Mannat’ And We Can’t Stop Smiling

It is said, ‘Never meet your heroes, because they’re sure to disappoint you‘. But I’ve never really understood why. A handshake, a wave or even a tweet from my favourite celebrity would have me giddy with joy. For weeks. Earlier this week, Shashi Tharoor blessed a couple with the most unique Chemistry wedding invitation. And yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan felicitated these cute newlyweds.

Dhruv (the groom) is an avid SRK fan. He even sought the actor’s blessings for his impending marriage way back in June. And after tying the knot with his lady love, he did what anyone else would do. Visited the temple to seek his idol’s blessings. And by temple, I mean Mannat (King Khan’s home in Mumbai). To commemorate the happy occasion, they got a photo clicked too. In front of Mannat, in SRK’s signature pose. What a fitting tribute, don’t you think?
