Allergies can be dangerous and sometimes borderline life-threatening for those who aren’t aware or cautious about them. It’s not always just a runny nose and itchy eye but at times can lead to a swollen face, tight throat, and cause difficulty in breathing.
A recent victim of a threatening allergic reaction is Sonu Nigam.
The Bollywood playback singer recently took on Instagram to share disturbing pictures of him having an allergic reaction causing immense swelling on the left eye.
The allergic reaction started to occur after he ate seafood the day before his concert trip to Odisha’s Jeypore.
Sonu Nigam mentions how he had to be rushed to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital after the allergy kicked in, making it difficult for him to breathe.
He added that his condition could have got out of hand had there been no hospital nearby.
He also shared an important message with his followers about never taking allergies lightly because it will have serious consequences.
“Lesson for all of us. Never ever ever ever take a chance with allergies. Seafood in my case”, he said.
In good time he was cured and was ready for his upcoming concert. The singer thanked his fans for their prayers and wishes. “Thanks for your concern and love”, he said.
It’s always safe to run some tests before something like this can happen to you. Allergies can be caused by something as tiny as pollen to your regular vegetables.
