What? You thought that thing was over? Oh, you sweet summer child.
Here’s a short recap for you:
After Kangana labelled Karan the ‘flag bearer of nepotism in Bollywood’ on his own show, Karan returned the favour by asking her to ‘leave the industry‘ in a chat session. Kangana then hit back at Karan saying that she is here to stay. Later, even Shekhar Suman weighed in on the debacle, asking Kangana to keep her mouth shut.
And now it is Kangana’s contemporary actress Sonam Kapoor who has expressed her opinion on the controversy.
In a recent interview with NDTV, Sonam called the whole fiasco ‘entertaining’, adding that it makes for a great ‘bathroom-reading’ material.
Speaking for herself, Sonam said that she would never disrespect another person for the sake of higher TRPs.
“I made a decision when I was very young after my second or first ‘Koffee With Karan’ – it was that I would not do mudslinging when other actors and actresses are concerned because I would not do it for TRPs, I would not do it for a channel.”
Adding to her words, she said that even if she would have to give an opinion, she’d not drag another person down for it.Â
