Sonakshi Sinha Gets Junk Metal Instead Of ₹18K Headphones, Netizens Say ‘So Relatable’

We love giving gifts to ourselves. And most of the time, we order them online. We receive the delivery, open it slowly (savouring the moment) and finally catch a glimpse of what we ordered. But what if we don’t get what we paid for? Unacceptable! We’ve all experienced online shopping frauds at some point in our lives. But if someone said it happened to Sonakshi Sinha when she ordered from Amazon, would you believe it?

We wouldn’t have either. Until it actually happened. Sonakshi Sinha ordered  INR 18,000 headphones on Amazon. She was expecting Bose ones but got a rude shock instead. The package didn’t seem tampered with on the outside. And according to the actress, Customer Care was no help at all.

This is her tweet

Generally, when this sort of thing happens, people get angry. They question the reliability of e-commerce websites. Second-guess their future orders and mostly express their dissatisfaction. A timely resolution is sought.

In this case, however, Twitter was feeling happy instead. WHAT? Yes, happy that it also happens to celebrities! A lot of people recounted similar experiences and the general feeling was of relatability rather than outrage.

Still can’t believe this happened. Amazon India is sure to send a replacement since this tweet has gone viral. But it raises a pertinent question – Is online shopping reliable? If any of you has faced a similar issue, tell us about it.
