Software Engineer Turns Chaiwala As He Didn’t Get Job Satisfaction Earlier

Follow your dreams no matter what – this is something that is easier said than done. It takes a lot of compromises, sacrifices, and sometimes social ridicule, to chase a dream that is unconventional. But the heart wants what it wants, as proven by this one man.

A Software Engineer, who claims to have worked with reputed companies, turned into a Chaiwala. His reason – the previous job paid him well but didn’t give him job satisfaction!

A picture of the man’s tea stall with an elaborate message has gone viral on the internet. It explains what inspired him to leave his well-paying job and become a chaiwala in the first place. Here’s what it read:

“Waise toh main Software Engineer hoon. Main kayi company-on jaise Wipro mein kaam kar chuka hoon jaha paise toh milte the par sukoon nahi tha. Main hamesha se hi business karna chahta tha. Har roz mere table par chai aati this par mujhe kabhi behtareen chai nahi mili. Hamesha se hi chai ke shaukeen raha hoon. Main chahta tha ki ek laajawaab chai peene ko mile toh maine chai se hi apne business ki choti si shuruwat ki aur main ban gaya…Engineer Chaiwala.”

This roughly translates to:

“Essentially, I am a Software Engineer. I have worked in many companies like Wipro where I did get paid well but had no peace. I always wanted to do business. Every day, a cup of tea used to be kept on my table. However, I never had the kind of tea which can be called extraordinary. I have always been an enthusiast for tea. I wanted there to be a place where people could have amazing tea. Which is why I started my business with tea and became…Engineer Chaiwala.”

Even though we cannot verify the stall’s location, many people on the internet claimed that he belongs from Nagpur. His picture was shared by IAS officer Awanish Sharan as well.

People online are lauding the man’s courage for doing what makes him truly happy. Many even said, “Koi bhi kaam chota ya bada nahi hota hai.”

Kudos to Engineer Chaiwala for setting a beautiful example! We hope he discovers the recipe for the world’s best tea someday!
