According to Government census, there are close to 13 million child labourers aged less than 14 in India, out of which around 60 lakhs kids don’t have access to any formal education. At such a tender age, these kids have no other option but to work as a child labour. A gut-wrenching-soul-crushing statistic, isn’t it? But if given a chance, would YOU help one of these kids ?
Ufaan.org has tried to find the answer to the above question in this social experiment, where they made a child actor wear a placard on his neck that reads “I want to go to school. Will you help me?” , and recorded people’s reactions to the heart-wrenching plea of this child.
