‘Welcome’ Actor Snehal Daabbi Accuses Firoz Nadiadwala Of Not Paying His Dues For 14 Years

Actor Snehal Daabbi who has worked in films such as Welcome, Hera Pheri, and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega has made a shocking claim against the makers of the Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Welcome’. Despite being released way back in 2007, Snehal revealed that he still hasn’t been paid for his work in the film.

According to Hindustan Times, Snehal Daabbi alleged that Firoz Nadiadwala hasn’t paid him for ‘Welcome’ for the past 14 years despite him making multiple appeals.

“I haven’t yet been paid. Firoz bhai would just assure ‘Deta hoon paisa, deta hoon paisa, deta hoon paisa’. Hence, I was disillusioned here and was wondering ‘Yeh kaisi industry hai?'”

He went on to add that even if Firoz Nadiadwala offered him a huge sum of money, even then he wouldn’t work for him.

“Mujhe Rs 10 crore denge fir bhi unki film nahi karunga. Firoz bhai commit karte hai, fir ghoom jaate hai.”

Snehal isn’t the only actor who has accused Firoz Nadiadwala of not clearing dues. Back in 2016, filmmaker Anees Bazmee alleged that Nadiadwala owed him Rs 2 crore for which he gave him two post-dated cheques for Rs 1 crore each. During the time of withdrawal, both cheques got rejected.

“There are many workers who are yet to get their dues,” he had alleged.
