Dating apps have made it easy for people to find ‘the one’. Gone are those days where you met potential partners via mutual friends or even send someone you like a friend request on social media and secretly hope they are interested in you too. Nowadays, all you have to do is swipe right and you have a ‘date’ ready. However, for one guy, even dating apps couldn’t work!
According to a report by News18, a 30-year-old guy named Mark Rofe, from Sheffield was so tired of being single that he went on to purchase a billboard for £425 (Rs 40,000 approx) and advertised himself as an eligible bachelor looking for a date!
The billboard was spotted in Manchester, UK. It read: “Single? Date Mark. This could be the sign you’ve been waiting for.”
The dating apps weren't working, so I bought a billboard and set up a website to stand out and try get a date.

Mark has also launched a website named ‘Dating Mark’ which contains his personal details, including his shoe size and the fact that he has 2 friends and has kissed over 3 girls, reports The Indian Express.
He mentioned that he is a marketing professional and described himself as “extremely handsome and modest”. He also claimed that he decided to advertise himself on a billboard since all his friends are getting married while he remains single.
He also asks interested people to apply and others to donate so that he can purchase other billboards.
So far, Mark has had 1004 applicants!
People on the internet are blown away by his idea and are hoping that Mark finds someone soon.

Nice job Mark. Dating is 💯 harder these days and the apps don't make it easier. People think their is endless choices and thus they can be 💯 x 💯 as picky.

When did dating become so hard that people now have to purchase billboards? Can we all please go back to the good old days? Dating is becoming expensive!
