It’s official peeps. It’s definitely wedding season in celeb town! The fever seems to have spread like wildfire since the dreamy AF Virushka wedding. Right on their heels, we have had the Ambani family announce the upcoming wedding in their house. Just as we were getting over that one, rumours of Sonam Kapoor getting married started making the rounds. Well, the wedding bells are more than just a rumour for this celeb I’m going to tell you about.
Shweta Tripathi who shot to fame with her work in extraordinary movies like Masaan and Haraamkhor just got engaged to her longtime beau, Chaitnya Sharma.
Chaitanya aka SlowCheeta is a rapper and his song Kripya Dhyan De from Sumeet Vyas’s upcoming film High Jack, launched last week. The two have been dating for 5 years now and make an adorable couple.
She announced the engagement on Instagram today and the pictures are frickin cute!
The post which is all kinds of awwwwww… reads:

And she wasn’t joking about the screaming part. There’s a video of the actual proposal in the post and she literally does scream out the yes. How cute is that?!
Chaitnya also announced the engagement on his Instagram account.
And looks like the pair has picked a wedding hashtag just as swaggy as them- #gocheetagetbattata. I repeat, kyaut!!!
