From Vaijanthimala to Reena Roy, Sridevi and Rekha, Bollywood has given us some iconic Naagins in almost every decade. Well now, ‘Stree’ actor Shraddha Kapoor is all set to play a shape-shifting snake on screen.

Sharing the news with her fans, an ecstatic Kapoor tweeted:

It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Naagin on screen. I have grown up watching, admiring and idolising Sridevi ma'am's Nagina and Nigahen and have always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore.✨💜@Nikhil_Dwivedi @FuriaVishal @saffronbrdmedia

Her fans were equally delighted to see Shraddha play the new-age ‘Ichchadhari Naagin’. They immediately picked up the canvas and created beautiful avatars of Shraddha as a serpent.
