Technology today has given us the leverage to connect with scores of people with just a click. The many followers on our social media have become our virtual family. And what do we do when we are in the soup? We either Google the solution or just ask our family for help, right? Well, that’s pretty much what filmmaker Shoojit Sircar did.
The director-producer who was being bugged by rice weevil took to Twitter to seek advice from his thousands of followers.
He wrote how he was having ‘rice bugs problem’ and wanted to know about some desi nuskhas to get rid of them. And within minutes of posting about his problems, he was flooded with solutions.

Cloves: This is a great idea if you are living alone and have faced this problem for the first time. Cloves are widely available and will fight off the bugs and will also avoid their infestation. You can also sprinkle some cloves around your cupboard shelves and pantry area.

Hi sir, u can put salfaz tablets in rice or pure haldi dat is not powdered,dat can keeps bugs away.And keep d rice in tight container of plastic bcz dat allows limited air to pass to d rice wich is needed.Try dis , it .Bt do take out salfaz tablets bfr making rice .
