When last year ‘Kabir Singh’ was receiving immense flak for celebrating toxic masculinity, I couldn’t help but listen to all its songs on loop. Because no matter how the film was, the music album was excellent!
Accept it – we have all come across films which were disappointing but the songs were fireballs! And people on the internet are talking about exactly that. It started when one user asked people to name a “shitty movie” which has a “fire album” and they obliged. Have a look:
‘Bekhayali’ and ‘Kaise Hua’ bruh! The entire album is bomb!
Name a shitty movie that has a fire album. I'll start-

A.R. Rahman’s music in Imtiaz Ali’s films is hands-down brilliant.

I say this all the time. ‘Fitoor’ is an underrated album. Amit Trivedi is an underrated composer.

Songs from ‘Roy’ were FANTASTIC! ‘Tu Hain Ki Nahi’, ‘Yaare Re’, and ‘Boond Boond’ need more credit.

The songs and the CINEMATOGRAPHY! It’s a shame that the movie didn’t do well.

Also, ‘Criminal’ > ‘Chammak Challo’.
Raavan (though it's watchable) but Mani ratnam and A.R Rahman does magic whenever they collaborate.

‘Tum Mile’ was beautiful! I mean, have we forgotten the about the title track, ‘Dil Ibadat’, and ‘Haan Tu Hain’?

Songs like ‘Zara Si Dil Mein De Jagah Tu’, ‘Buleya’, ‘Kabira’, ‘Ilahi’, etc. still dominate my playlist and I don’t think I can ever get over them, ever.
