It’s day 4 of the 21-day lockdown and ALL of us are helping with chores around the house. From cooking, doing dishes, folding laundry, vacuuming to scrubbing tables and sanitizing doorknobs, it has made us realize that having house help is a privilege.
Earlier, Katrina Kaif shared an appreciation post for them while she washed utensils and swept her place with a broom. Now, Shilpa Shetty has posted a video of her new workout – cleaning the garden.
News18 quoted her saying,
“Cleaning and tending to the garden for these last few days. This lockdown time has made me realize and remember that having help in any form is one of those few things we should always appreciate. Our lives become so much easier because of all our house help/staff but unfortunately, sometimes we only realize this in times like these.”
Hindustan Times quoted her adding,
“Today, I’m grateful for every single person who has made life easier for us in their own way. It is because of them that we can enjoy the gift of time to go out and pursue our dreams. When life gets back to normal, don’t forget to let them know that you value them.”
This lockdown is a great chance for us (men, women, and children) to learn to clean up after ourselves, don’t you think?
