Shikhar Dhawan Vows To Donate Money To The Families Of Martyrs, Asks Everyone To Join

The entire country witnessed a moment of horror on 14th February 2019 as 44 CRPF personnel were killed in a ghastly terrorist attack carried out by Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM). The suicide bombing took place at Awantipora town of Kashmir’s Pulwama district and saw terrorist Adil Ahmad Dar attack a convoy bus with an explosive-laden SUV.

The day goes down as a black day in India’s rich history and the loss cannot be expressed in words. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the country of revenge, the heinous act has been strongly condemned by dignataries from all over the country including Bollywood superstars and sports stars. Several world leaders have come forward and stood by India in the time of despair.

However, among the cricketers, a heartwarming proposal was put forward by Virender Sehwag, when he offered to educate the children of the martyred soldiers. And now, left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan has come up with a heartwarming video.

Wearing a camouflage printed jacket, Dhawan expressed his concern over the tragedy. He mentioned that though it is impossible to mend the damage done to the families of the jawans, he has decided to donate money to help them cope up with the situation.

He also urged all the viewers to come forward with whatever contributions possible and help the families in the dark hour.

Here is the video:

This is the least we can do. Jis se jitna ban pade utna zaroor karein. Jai Hind🙏#standwithforces #pulwama
